What is the output ?

Look at the following piece of code and figure out what would be the output. There is something very tricky about this code, which does not allow it to work as you would expect it to.
I recently came across such a nasty bug in our code at work, and spent about two hours looking all around the codebase before finding the flaw. Silly me !!

public class Tricky {

  public static void main(String[] args

  {

    for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {

      if(i % == 1);

      {

        System.out.println("Hello World #" + i);

      }

    }

  }

}

Agile/XP conference in Bangalore

There is an Agile/XP conference being held in Bangalore on the 4th and the 5th of March.

I have been very interested in Agile development but have not got an opportunity to try it (except for my own small projects). This would be a great opportunity for me to meet with guys who have actually been doing Agile/XP.
I expect to get involved with some of the guys and see if I can join some opensource project which is based on Agile methodologies. I am very excited !!

If you are interested, you can join the Agile India Users Yahoo Group

And they say I am absent minded and forgetful !!

There are others, silly things happen everywhere...
Check out this story about an experiment onboard the Huygens probe which failed because someone forgot to switch it on ! Eighty man years if effort were wasted because of a silly mistake.
I feel sick just thinking of how stupid the person responsible for this error would be feeling.

It is Sankranti today !!

"Jaao Jaao Patang udaao". - Famous line by Ballu the bear[from: Disney's Tailspin in Hindi]

Kite flying is the festival I enjoy the most. Flying kites, especially fighting kites requires skill, concentration and the killer spirit to 'never say die until there is another in the sky'. Wah ye tau sher ban gaya !!
Do you know we even fly kites at night, to the kite's string candle-lanterns are attached and thus you can see a beautiful flying 'Toran' of Lights in the sky.
I shall ask Dhaval to snap some pictures and post them for those who have'nt seen this.

After a lot of googling I could only find this page with some decent pictures of Indian kites.

I am in Bangalore right now and will have to leave for office in a few minutes. No kite flying for me this year :(
Anyways I can still enjoy the spirit of Sankranti.. like this..

Everyone shout with me once !!
" Khallllaaaas ........ Kaaaypo Chhhhhe ..... Kaaaaaaaaaaaypo Chhhhhe "

Update:

Madhoo has some interesting thoughts on what she wants to learn from her son. Read here
I am a big believer in the 'dont hold a grudge' lesson.
