Outsourcing ! - A view from an NRI hit by outsourcing

Guys meet Shanti on her very interesting blog. I have been reading her for some time and I like her. Check out this post by Shanti where she tell us the frustration she is going through, as she is made to teach her replacements how to do her job. Also check out the comments from the readers.
I can not decide which side is right, whether Shanti or her employer. I will be thinking about this.

Deepak/Anup, you would be specially interested in this. Since you guys have been the 'replacement guy' and have frustration due to the lack of support from the 'other side'.

Minor earthquake in Bangalore

Today at about 6:40 am we experienced a minor earthquake, here in bangalore. Deepak realised thats the earth was shaking and woke up and told me about it. I shrugged him off saying ' kuch nahin hai, Soja'. After a few moments we both realised that the building was shaking and this time we both were sure. So we rushed out in our balcony to see if any one else is out. But no one seems to have reliased.
We are now waiting to see whether the earthquake was strong enough to bre reported in the media.
Well, Deepak has gone back to speep now while I have decided to follow this natural wake up call and start my day earlier. Ok then bye, let me go grab breakfast(Shanti Sagar's Idli-Vada are calling me again).

Vasuvaj - A truely great guy

Myslef and Asawari, have been attending a weekend samskrit course since about 2 months now. There we were previleged to come in touch with Vasuvaj. The guy is really great. Not only does he posses very good knowledge of samsrit and has exceptional skills as teacher. But the greatest thing about the man is his simplicity. I dont know any other man who is so knowledgeable and yet so simple, down to earth and pure.
Now, I attend the samsrit classes more since I just want to meet Vasuvaj and learning samsrit is just one of the many positive side effects :)
