I have added this page on TheScian Wiki to discuss the collective madness demonstrated by people in Gujarat on this Rakhi day. I am really feeling let down and ashamed of my countrymen today.

;-). Country is a very vague noton in these regards. It's here and now and the people we live with that matters. What can we do to change the people around us. That's the question. Passive living has become such a big passtime among us that we don't realize our rear is on fire and our children would pay the price.
Thats very correct Selva, we need to do something that would change the way our society thinks. Schools, I think is the best place for driving such a change. That's why I belive The idea of S4 @ theScian Wiki [http://www.thescian.com/wiki/index.php/S4] is a great one.
If only some schools would realize this and allow their students to spend time with the S4 stuff instead of memorizing lessons for exams
