"Ek - Anek" - Doordarshan Cartoon
Remember the very popular doordarshan cartoon film "Ek Chidiya Anek Chidiyaa... "? I am sure you do, if you are at least my age. When we were kids Doordarshan was the only channel on TV so people used to watch all that was aired. This particular cartoon along with the “Tree of Unity” cartoon was one of the very fine works on Doordarshan. As a kid, I never got bored from watching this one repeatedly. If you were like me, you would love this post. On this page you can view the video of the cartoon.

It is the best documentary for kids with a good message for unity..I was fan of this when i was kid...nd now after c it after long time ..m lost in bachpan
I' m 30 years old and I don't watch Doordarshan nowdays but I still love it.
Today, when I was chattering with my brother he said a word "Jugat Lagani Hoogi...." and my brain flashback to 25 years back when I was a little child and I remember this song "Suraj Ek Chand Ek...". Now, while watching this video again after 25 years but body is feeling cold and so nice that it can't be explain.
I thank you all who put their efforts to upload and discuss about this beautiful message. I am downloading this song and will show to all of the childrens nearby.
Even, I know that in today's Animation world it is a very small movie but still it gives a message to all of us.

what about the other Films Division cartoon films? like 'Skin in the Bin' for cleanliness, and 'Swimmi' for unity and one which showed Krishna eating 1 grain of rice saying, "ek ann ka yeh daana sukh dega mujh ko mann maana", and another one comparing different human body parts, "aankh jaise camera,... kaan jaise transmitter,..."
does any one remember all these other wonderful, enjoyable cartoon films with message/moral? I tell my children stories from these cartoons... as much as I can remember anyway...
but thanks to all you people for providing this link, because just tonite I related story of this cartoon to my daughters... but now I can show it to them as well hurrah!!!
